LearnAurelle
Mathematics academy • School LMS

Every course, grades 9 to 12.
With a real classroom behind it.

The full California sequence is mapped — both pathways, honors and AP — from Algebra 1 and Integrated Math I through Calculus BC, Statistics and Data Science. Practice is generated fresh every time and marked algebraically rather than by string match, so any equivalent form earns the credit. Wrapped in a complete classroom system with assignments, rubric grading and gradebooks, plus a stock-market programme that runs as an extracurricular.

  • Database-enforced permissions, not hidden buttons
  • Virtual money only — never connected to a brokerage
  • Runs entirely on free tiers
  • Written lessons cover Algebra 1 so far — the rest of the catalogue is sequenced and practisable, not yet narrated

Three dashboards, one gradebook

Every permission is enforced in PostgreSQL with Row Level Security — so what a student cannot see, a student genuinely cannot fetch.

◆

Students

Enrolled classes, deadlines, quizzes and drafts in one place.

  • Due soon, overdue, submitted and graded views
  • Auto-graded quizzes with explanations
  • Paper trading with virtual money
  • A private trading journal nobody else can read
◆

Teachers

Only the classes you are authorized to teach — nothing else.

  • Assignments with rubrics, late policy and resubmissions
  • Target the whole class or individual students
  • Rubric grading, private feedback, bulk release
  • Gradebook with CSV export and missing-work tracking
◆

Administrators

Roster control, approvals and an immutable audit trail.

  • Approve registrations, invite teachers
  • Create classes, assign teachers, enroll and transfer
  • Deactivate accounts without deleting records
  • School-wide reports and audit logs

15 courses, 102 units, 459 lessons

Because California's 2023 framework says the traditional and integrated pathways cover the same standards in a different order, lessons live in one shared pool and each course is an ordered playlist over it. Writing a lesson once makes it appear everywhere it belongs.

◆

Both pathways

Whichever sequence your district runs.

  • Algebra 1 → Geometry → Algebra 2
  • Integrated Math I → II → III
  • Honors as a depth flag, not a duplicate course
  • 178 standards tagged across the catalogue
◆

Fourth year and AP

The full senior-year fan-out.

  • Precalculus, AP Precalculus
  • AP Calculus AB and BC
  • AP Statistics, Data Science
  • Discrete Mathematics, Financial Algebra
◆

Practice that cannot be memorised

30 generators, new numbers every attempt.

  • Marked algebraically — 1/2, 0.5 and 2^-1 all count
  • Equations match up to scale: 2x = 4 ≡ x = 2
  • Step-by-step worked solutions on every item
  • Rendered as native MathML, no CDN
Where the writing has reached. All 459 lessons have a title, a place in the sequence and their unit's standards. 53 of them have a written explanation today, with Algebra 1 complete end to end. Every other lesson page says so on its face rather than pretending — see what's unfinished.

Extracurricular: the stock market programme

Six levels, beginner to advanced, kept complete and assignable by teachers. Every lesson here has a plain-English explanation, an analogy, key terms, an interactive exercise and a five-question quiz that explains both right and wrong answers.

Education only. This platform does not provide investment advice, does not promise profits, and never connects to a real brokerage. Risk management is taught as a core subject, not an afterthought.

Built for a classroom, not a demo reel

📈 Charts that teach

Candlesticks with 9/20 EMA, 50/200 SMA, VWAP, Bollinger Bands, RSI, MACD and relative volume — each explained in the curriculum, including when it misleads.

🧮 Eight working calculators

Position size, risk-to-reward, P&L, percentage change, fees, win rate, expectancy and compounding — each with input validation and a plain-English reading of the result.

📝 Assignment types that fit the subject

Quizzes, chart analysis, candlestick ID, support/resistance, position sizing, R:R drills, psychology reflections, paper-trading challenges, journal reviews and research projects.

🔒 Private by construction

Students cannot read another student's submission, grade or journal — even by guessing a URL or calling the API directly. Verified by 127 automated policy tests.

🧾 Honest market data

Prices are clearly labelled synthetic, historical, delayed or live. With no feed configured, the simulator uses deterministic generated candles and never fabricates real quotes.

💸 $0 running cost

Supabase free tier plus a free static host. No build step, no server to pay for, no market-data subscription.

Security you can actually check

Student records and grades deserve real protection. Authorization lives in the database, so bypassing the interface changes nothing.

  • Row Level Security on all 21 tables
  • Role, school membership, class enrollment and teacher-to-class authorization
  • Role changes blocked by a database trigger and written to an audit log
  • Quiz answer keys unreadable by students; graded quizzes scored server-side
  • No service-role key, password or privileged secret in any front-end file
